An Act authorizing the city of Revere to pay a certain sum of money.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the city of Revere may pay an amount not to exceed $12,143.52 to Juanita M. Haas (Brandariz), wife of former city councillor Robert J. Haas, Jr., who died while serving as a member of the city council. This amount represents the salary to which Robert J. Haas, Jr., would have been entitled if he had lived and served until the end of his term in office as city councilor for the city of Revere.
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
