An Act relative to juvenile bail notification.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 39H of chapter 119 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 16 and 17, the words “, in consultation with the probation officer,”

SECTION 2. Section 67 of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 5 and 6,  the words “probation officer of the district court, or of the juvenile court, if there is one,” and inserting in the place thereof the following words:- the bail magistrate

SECTION 3. Section 67 of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 23, the words “, or, if the probation officer shall so direct”

SECTION 4. Section 67 of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 29, the words “probation officer and”

SECTION 5. Section 67 of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 33, the words “probation officer or”
