An Act relative to campaign finance.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 18 of chapter 55 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second to last paragraph, contained in lines 347 to 354, inclusive, and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:- Candidates who have no political committee organized on their behalf and who have not received any campaign contributions, incurred any liabilities, nor expended money on their behalf during any reporting period shall not be required to sign an affidavit stating that they have not received a campaign contribution, incurred any liabilities, nor made any expenditure on their own behalf.
