By Mr. Dooley of Norfolk, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 4353) of Shawn Dooley and Richard J. Ross (by vote of the town) that the town of Plainville be authorized to grant additional 6 additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises, 3 additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises and 5 additional licenses for the sale of wines and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises.  Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act authorizing the town of Plainville to grant additional licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of Plainville may grant 6 additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises pursuant to section 12 of said chapter 138. The licenses shall be subject to all of said chapter 138 except said section 17.

(b) Notwithstanding said section 17 of said chapter 138, the licensing authority of the town of Plainville may grant 3 additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises pursuant to section 15 of said chapter 138. The licenses shall be subject to all of said chapter 138 except said section 17.

(c) Notwithstanding said section 17 of said chapter 138, the licensing authority of the town of Plainville may grant 5 additional licenses for the sale of wines and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises pursuant to said section 15 of said chapter 138. The licenses shall be subject to all of said chapter 138 except said section 17.
