An Act amending the provisions of Chapter 145 of the Acts of 1937.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Be it enacted that the provisions of Chapter 145 of the Acts of 1937 be amended by striking the first sentence of Section 9 and substituting in its place the following language: “The Board of Water Commissioners shall consist of five (5) members to be elected for three (3) year terms, so arranged that nearly an equal number of terms as possible shall expire each year.”
