An Act authorizing the City of Malden to continue the employment of Barbara O’Brien.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of general or special law to the contrary, the City of Malden may employ and compensate Barbara O’Brien, a retiree of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System, as principal of the Beebe School in said city for the 2018-2019 academic year. Said service shall be without diminution of benefits under Chapter 32 and no further deductions shall be made from regular compensation as principal under Chapter 32 for service rendered during the 2018-2019 academic year.

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
