An Act relative to the affordable housing trust fund of the town of Brewster.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 16 of the acts of 2006 is hereby repealed. 

SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the board of selectmen of the town of Brewster shall transfer any funds held in the Affordable Housing Fund, established pursuant to section 1 of chapter 16 of the acts of 2006, to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, established by a vote of the town meeting of the town of Brewster on May 7, 2018 pursuant to chapter 55C of chapter 44 of the General Laws.

SECTION 3.  Section 1 shall take effect upon the completion of the transfer described in section 2; provided, that the board of selectmen shall file a letter with the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate reporting the date of the completion of said transfer within 30 days of the completion of said transfer.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
