An Act authorizing the town of Orleans to exempt all municipal seasonal beach facilities from the applicable provisions of the state plumbing code.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, or the provisions of the state plumbing code, 248 CMR 10.06, the town of Orleans is authorized to use PVC plastic pipe and fittings for waste disposal, drains and ventilation in the construction or replacement of municipal seasonal facilities for beach administration, restrooms, showers and food service at all municipal beaches.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
