An Act requiring the appointment of additional members to the Somerville Redevelopment Authority.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding G. L. c. 121B, Section 5, the City of Somerville shall appoint an additional two members on the Somerville Redevelopment Authority, one of which shall be an alderman appointed by the President of the Board of Aldermen, to serve coterminous with the term of the President, and one of which shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Board of Aldermen, to serve for a term of five years. Four members of the Redevelopment Authority shall constitute a quorum.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
