An Act designating the children’s pool at the Philip J. Weihn memorial pool as the Liberty M. Arnold-Simon Memorial Children’s Pool.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain pool in the town of Clinton, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Chapter 453 of the acts of 1987 is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following 2 sentences:-

The children’s pool at the Philip J. Weihn memorial pool shall be designated and known as the Liberty M. Arnold-Simon Memorial Children’s Pool. The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain 2 suitable markers bearing the designations for the Philip J. Weihn memorial pool and Liberty M. Arnold-Simon Memorial Children’s Pool in compliance with the standards of the department.
