An Act relative to health insurance benefits for certain retirees in the town of Pembroke.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 32B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Town of Pembroke shall recognize certain retirees who are not eligible to participate in a Medicare health insurance plan as a separate class of retirees with whom the Town may establish, collectively or individually, and may from time to time amend, a health insurance premium contribution rate that is more favorable than the premium contribution rate applicable to other retired employees from the Town of Pembroke. Said separate class of retirees shall consist of and be limited to the following: John Glauben, Robert Demers, William Curtin, and Scott Manning.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
