An Act relative to the sewer construction and water quality maintenance and improvement fund in the town of Mashpee.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding Section 53 of Chapter 44 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Town of Mashpee may establish a Sewer Construction and Water Quality Maintenance and Improvement Fund to receive revenue under Section 3A of Chapter 64G of the General Laws, in the manner set forth in Section 2, and may appropriate monies in the fund for planning, designing and construction of sewers and other means of comprehensive wastewater management and maintenance and improvement of water resources.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
