An Act relative to the right to counsel in disciplinary hearings.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 69 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
Section 37. Any college, university, community college, junior college or other school of higher education, whether public or private, shall permit a student of the school to be represented by counsel at a disciplinary hearing, at the student’s discretion.
