An Act to clarify comparable health care coverage.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 18 of Chapter 15A of the General Laws, as most recently amended by chapter 35 of the acts of 2013, is hereby further amended by inserting, after the words "providing comparable coverage", the following phrase: -

provided that such institution shall allow students to waive participation in its student health insurance program if the student can demonstrate current participation in an organization defined in 26 U.S.C. Sec. 5000A(d)(2)
