An Act relative to CORI.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 172A of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 9, after the second sentence, the following:-

A fee shall not be assessed for a request made by a parent or legal guardian or legal custodian for the criminal record information of a childcare provider who has or may have direct contact with a child of such parent or a child under the care of such legal guardian or legal custodian.
