An Act relative to the retirement of Michael Gallerani.

 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to retirement for Michael Gallerani, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding the requirement in section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws that a member must be in active service for at least 2 consecutive years following certain re-entry of active service or any other general or special law to the contrary and to promote the public good, Michael Gallerani, a former employee of Towns of Plymouth, Stoneham and Natick shall be eligible to receive a superannuation retirement allowance, an ordinary disability retirement allowance or a termination retirement allowance pursuant to said chapter 32 from the Natick Retirement Board payable as of July 1, 2014.
