An Act increasing distance for discharging a firearm near a dwelling or other building.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 12E of Chapter 269 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 official edition, is hereby amended in line 3 by striking out the following: “five hundred feet” and inserting in place thereof the following: “one thousand feet”.
