An Act Relative to Increasing Access to the Limited Liability Corporation Designation.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 12 of chapter 156C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:- 

(e) Notwithstanding subsection (d), for a limited liability company that has been certified by the supplier diversity office pursuant to section 61 of chapter 7 as a veteran business enterprise,  minority business enterprise or women business enterprise as defined in section 58 of said chapter 7, the fee for the filing of the certificate of organization required by subsection (a)  shall be $250, and the fee for the filing of the annual report required by subsection (c) shall be $250.
