An Act authorizing the board of directors of Metacomet Emergency Communications Center to accept chapter 32B of the General Laws.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 10 of chapter 32B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Metacomet Emergency Communications Center, the district established by the city known as the town of Franklin and the towns of Norfolk, Plainville and Wrentham under chapter 39 of the acts of 2013, may accept chapter 32B by majority vote of the district’s board of directors.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
