Lewis and other members of the General Court for legislation to require the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination to include representatives of the LGBTQ community.  State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.

An Act relative to the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 56 of chapter 6  of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “women”, in line 47, the following words: - ; individuals who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, questioning or queer; individuals who identify as transgender.
