An Act relative to increasing transparency in public construction.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 8B of Chapter 81 of the General laws, is hereby amended by striking the third paragraph and replacing it with the following:-
An application for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be considered a public record as defined by Section 7 of Chapter 4 except that financial information contained in the application shall not be a public record.
