An Act relative to state tourism accountability and transparency.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 14 of chapter 23A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 59 and 60, the words “at such time and in such form as the executive director of tourism shall specify”, and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“on or before October 1 annually, provided, that reports by the regional tourist councils shall include a list of all municipalities located within said region, and a description of funding directly distributed to or allocated for the promotion of tourism within each municipality”
