An Act relative to handicapped parking.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 90 is hereby amended, in line 322, by inserting after the word “time.” the following sentence:-
“Any person who conceals the placard number and expiration date, or displays the placard so that the placard number, expiration date and identifying information does not face the front windshield of the car shall be subject to a fine of $500 for a first offense and $1,000 for a second or subsequent offense.”
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 90 is hereby amended, in line 329, by inserting after the word “offense.” the following sentence:-
“Any person who reports a lost or stolen special parking identification placard shall be required to sign an affidavit under the pains and penalties of perjury affirming that all information provided in the report are true to the best of the person’s knowledge.”
