An Act clarifying the definition of commercial motor vehicles.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The first paragraph of section 2 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the seventh sentence the following sentence:-

Applications by natural persons for registration of dual rear wheel axle pick-up trucks with 5 or more wheels on the ground and not used for commercial purposes shall not be classified as a commercial vehicle for the purposes of registration.
