An Act designating a certain bridge in the town of Dedham as the Honorable Kelly A. Timilty Memorial Bridge.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Bridge D-05-011 on Sawmill Lane, spanning Mother Brook in the Town of Dedham, shall be designated and known as the “Honorable Kelly A. Timilty Memorial Bridge” in recognition of Kelly A. Timilty. Kelly was a beloved public servant who served nine consecutive terms before five governors on the Governor's Council. Kelly was the youngest child of Joseph F. Timilty, former state senator, and the sister of the Honorable James E. Timilty. She passed away before her time on January 31, 2012. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
