An Act relative to drivers license information.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
The registrar shall collect the following information from all persons issued licenses: from persons 21 years of age or older, the name and contact information of a person to be contacted in case of any emergency; from persons under 21 years of age, the name and contact information of next of kin or if there is no next of kin a person standing in place of a next of kin.
