An Act relative to veterans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 21 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after section 3G, the following section:-
Section 3H. Veterans, as defined by clause 43, section 7 of chapter 4, shall not be required to pay charges and fees, including day-use parking fees and recreation visitor fees, for entrance to public forest lands and public beaches under the control and care of the department of conservation and recreation.
SECTION 2. Section 2D of chapter 132A, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 16, the words “disabled veteran” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- Veterans, as defined by clause 43, section 7 of chapter 4.
