An Act exempting veterans from civil service exam fees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (n) of section 5 of chapter 31 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “instances” in line 61 the following words:- "provided that a veteran shall not be charged any fee for any examination provided by this chapter."
SECTION 2. Section 20 of said chapter 31, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “four” in line 7 the following words:- "provided, however, that a veteran shall not be charged any fee for any examination provided by this chapter."
