An Act relative to the retirement allowance of Jana Cavanaugh.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, Jana Cavanaugh, a member of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System and the Plymouth County Retirement System, shall be exempt from the provisions of paragraph (e) of subdivision 2 of section 5 of chapter 32 of the General Laws and shall be otherwise retired by the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System, effective June 30, 2016, pursuant to the provisions of section 5 of said chapter.
