An Act relative to PEG access and cable related funds.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 53F¾ of chapter 44 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 6, after the word “municipality” the following:- “. A municipality may also arrange for direct payment of franchise related fees to a designated PEG Access provider of their choosing”.

SECTION 2. Said section 53F¾, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 7, the word “appropriated” and inserting in place thereof the word “used”.
