An Act relative to background checks of persons providing direct services to children in a school setting or program.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 38R of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition,  is hereby amended by inserting after the word “district”, in line 10, the following words: - “, or any persons providing direct services to children in a school setting or program”.

SECTION 2.  Section 38R of chapter 71 of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the word “grounds”, in line ___, the following words: - “, or any persons providing direct services to children in a school setting or program”.

SECTION 3.  Section 38R of Chapter 71 of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the word “employer”, in line ___, the following words: - “ or any persons providing direct services to children in a school setting or program”.
