An Act regarding transfer of retained earnings surplus in the town of Clinton.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Pursuant to the requirements of MGL Chapter 44 section 53F1/2 and notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, the Town of Clinton will be authorized to transfer retained earnings surplus from the Landfill Enterprise Fund into the Capital Projects & Infrastructure Improvements Stabilization Fund. The Town of Clinton shall, by ordinance, establish guidelines for the transfer of funds from the Landfill Enterprise Fund to the Capital Projects & Infrastructure Improvements Stabilization Fund.

SECTION 2. The provisions of this act shall take effect upon its passage.
