An Act adding a fifth member to the Board of Elections Commission in the City of Everett.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The third sentence of section 16A of chapter 51 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "persons" the following words:- "except in the City of Everett, where the Board shall have a fifth member who shall be the City Clerk or his/her designee the Assistant City Clerk."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
