An Act authorizing the city of Worcester to convey a certain parcel of land.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary but subject to paragraphs (a), (b) and (g) of section 16 of chapter 30B of the General Laws, the city of Worcester may, subject to terms and conditions as determined by the city manager, convey to Saint John’s High School located in the town of Shrewsbury a certain parcel of land containing 83,347 square feet, more or less, located on Main street in the town of Shrewsbury and shown on the plan entitled “Plan Of Land In Shrewsbury, MA, Land Owned By The City of Worcester, ANR Plan”, dated August 20, 2017, prepared by the city of Worcester department of public works and parks, engineering division, recorded with the Worcester district registry of deeds in book 936, page 72. The parcel shall be used for school purposes.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
