An Act relative to election ballots.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The third paragraph of section 41 of chapter 54 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- The word “veteran” shall be added in the same space to the name of each candidate for state, city or town office who is a veteran as defined in section 1 of chapter 31 if the candidate so requests, no later than the deadlines set forth in sections 10 and 48 of chapter 53.
