An Act relative to agricultural composting programs.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.Section 7 (b) of Chapter 21H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words “department of food and agriculture” in the third sentence and inserting in their place the words “department of environmental protection”.

SECTION 2. Said Section 7 (b) of Chapter 21H of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end the following sentence:- “Said department of environmental protection shall not delegate such regulatory authority to any other executive agency or allow for exception from such regulations for any type of composting operation.”
