An Act relative to the use of artificial lights in hunting.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 68 of Chapter 131 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2014 official edition is hereby amended by striking the first sentence and replacing it with the following:-

Section 68. A person shall not hunt any bird or mammal except fox, coyote, raccoon or opossum by the aid or use of any artificial light as permitted by regulation promulgated by the division of fisheries and wildlife, or hunt any bird with a swivel or pivot gun.
