An Act to promote the appropriate treatment of young children.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 52 of 119 Chapter 119 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out in the definition of “Delinquent child” the word “seven” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- twelve

SECTION 2. Section 54 of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out in the definition of “Delinquent child” the word “seven” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- twelve

SECTION 3. Section 67 of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out in the definition of “Delinquent child” the word “seven” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- twelve

SECTION 4. Section 68 of said Chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “seven” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- twelve

SECTION 5. Section 68A of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “seven” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- twelve

SECTION 6. Section 84 of said chapter 119, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “seven” and inserting in place thereof the following:- twelve
