An Act relative to the timely disposal of contraband drugs.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the department of environmental protection shall develop and implement a program to ensure that municipal police departments without a permit to operate a mobile drug incinerator under 310 CMR 7.02 are able to dispose of waste medications and contraband drugs in a timely manner and the department shall assist municipal police departments in doing so.
