An Act relative to consumer notification.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Section 4 of Chapter 1751 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, shall be amended by adding at the end thereof the following:-

“(f) an insurance institution shall annually notify members of the expiration date and requirements for reimbursement opportunities for health memberships within ninety days, but not later than thirty days before such reimbursement opportunities expire.
