An Act relative to disability insurance benefits.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 108F. No insurance policy or plan, insuring persons disabled by reason of injury, illness or disease shall discriminate against any insured person by eliminating benefits or by reducing benefits by reason of the insured person being disabled, either in whole or in part, by a mental or nervous condition; or by “self-reported,” symptom or symptoms which have been documented by a duly licensed physician.
