An Act to promote Graduate Medical Education.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 118E of the general laws is amended by adding at the end thereof, the following new section:
Section 78. MassHealth shall make Graduate Medical Education payments for primary care, behavioral health, and other physician shortage professions residency training. Eligible recipients shall include community health centers and hospitals licensed in the Commonwealth.
