An Act relative to health management and wellness.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 118E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 10G the following section:-
Section 10H: The division shall provide coverage for anti-obesity medication approved by the Federal Drug Administration for the purposes for which it has been prescribed, when it has been prescribed by a health care professional legally authorized to prescribe such medication, and shall seek manufacturer rebates for such medication as provided for under 42U.S.C. 1396 r-8 (b)(1).
