An Act relative to prevention of EBT fraud.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 27A of chapter 18 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the word “designate.” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “designate; provided that, every sixth check must be collected at the recipient’s local branch office. The recipient shall be required to present a photo identification to receive said check.”
