An Act regarding oversight on eligibility for tuition and fee waivers.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 19 of Chapter 15A as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after the word “courses” in line 13 the following paragraph:-

; provided, however, that no full or partial waiver of tuition or fees shall be allowed for persons not legally residing in the commonwealth absent specific statutory authorization for such waiver.
