An Act relative to the waiving of fees for the declaration of homestead for disabled veterans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 38 of chapter 262 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following:-
“No fee for recording a declaration of homestead shall be issued to a disabled veteran, as defined in section 1 of chapter 31.”
