An Act clarifying DMH regulations.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 123 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the words “and subject to appropriation”.
SECTION 2. Said section 2 of said chapter 123, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “facilities”, in lines 13 and 14, the following words:
(4) shall be developed in a manner consistent with available physician resources and in accordance with national standards for providing evening and night coverage for hospitals.
