An Act designating a band stand at the Marine Park in South Boston as the Harry G. Uhlman, Jr. Memorial Band Stand.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The band stand located at Marine Park on William J. Day Boulevard in the South Boston section of the city of Boston, under the care and control of the Department of Conversation and Recreation, shall be designated and known as the Harry G. Uhlman, Jr. Memorial Band Stand in memory of Harry G. Uhlman, Jr. who has helped the mentally and physically disabled of South Boston for decades. The Department of Conversation and Recreation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing that designation in competence with the standards of the department.
