An Act authorizing the Department of Fish and Game to acquire a conservation restriction on land of the town of Groveland.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to authorize forthwith the Department of Fish and Game to acquire a conservation restriction on land of the town of Groveland, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 2.  The parcels of land on which a conservation restriction will be granted, to be acquired from the town of Groveland are identified as follows:

SECTION 3. Costs and expenses associated with the transactions authorized by this act shall be apportioned as agreed by the town of Groveland and the department of fish and game.

SECTION 4.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
