An Act relative to check cashing schedules.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 169A of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:
Section XX: The commissioner may promulgate regulations limiting fees imposed on check cashing. The commissioner may use other state schedules, industry best practices, national reports and other sources.
